Why we created Cartographit
In many organisations, knowledge of the information system is scattered across diagrams, files and the memory of teams. When an outage, a change or an audit comes along, the links between business, applications and infrastructure have to be pieced back together.
Nixial, a digital services company and software publisher, created Cartographit to give this information a common home. The map becomes a working base that teams can enrich, consult and test against their decisions.
Closeness in the relationship
We seek to understand each organisation’s context before proposing a scope or a method. A named contact coordinates commercial and technical discussions so that every question gets an answer.
Flexibility in the product
The uses of mapping evolve with projects and teams. We listen to user feedback to evolve Cartographit, and we adapt our support to each organisation’s level of maturity.
Responsiveness and trust, day to day
We reply to contact requests within 48 hours. We present what the solution can do and the limits of its analyses with the same precision: a map helps prepare decisions; it does not replace validation by the teams.
Reference points for our approach
Cartographit features in the Wavestone Radar 2025, received an Innovation Trophy at Cyber Show Paris 2025 and appears in the CESIN and Hexatrust Cyber Panorama. Nixial is also listed in UGAP’s multi-publisher software library, for which SCC holds the contract. The Cartographit project is co-financed by the European Union through the ERDF and by the Occitanie Region.
